Tagging System Settings

Configure how tags are displayed and managed. Automated tagging is controlled individually per rule in the Tag Management page.

Tag Display

Display tag badges directly on port cards (may affect layout)
Show "+" indicator when more tags exist

Tag Management

When disabled, tag names must be unique (recommended)
Automatically assign colors to new tags for better visual distinction
Remove tags that are not assigned to any ports

Docker Integration

Docker Settings

Default: unix:///var/run/docker.sock (local Docker socket)
Automatically add ports from Docker containers

Portainer Integration

Disable this if Portainer uses self-signed certificates
Automatically add ports from Portainer containers

Komodo Integration

Automatically add ports from Komodo containers

Import Port entries to Portall

Export Data

Export all data including ports with their tags, tagging rules, and system settings to a comprehensive JSON file.

Export includes:
  • All port entries with assigned tags
  • All tags and their properties (name, color, description)
  • All tagging rules and their configurations
  • Tagging system settings
  • Docker, Portainer, and Komodo integration settings
The exported file can be used to backup your complete Portall configuration or migrate to another instance.

Purge Data

Purge all entries from the database. This action cannot be undone.
